Praz de Lys Sommand

5 chairlifts accessible to autonomous or piloted ski chairs provide access to some twenty kilometers of slopes:

A carpet is available for dualskis or uniskis at Sommand, but not for tandemskis.

All chairlift departure controls are equipped with flip flaps.
If the ski chair passenger is not self-sufficient, put the ski pass in the left sleeve pocket if the jacket has one. This makes it easier to release.

Tandemskis and piloted dualskis board the Pierres rouges chairlift via the left-hand gantry.
Autonomous dualskis and uniskis pass through all gates.

The arrival platforms of the 3 Praz de Lys chairlifts are very high to make it easier for children to disembark, and can be more restrictive. Signal the chairlift driver to reduce speed.

Be aware of the presence of anti-fall bars for children on chairlifts.
Position yourself well in the boarding area, as it may be difficult to move the chair once it has been boarded, depending on the weight of the passenger.

On the Sommand side, the nearest toilets are at the foot of the lift cash desks, which are around 150 m from the snow front, requiring a double transfer. There are no wheelchair-accessible toilets in the ski area.

Ski passes are best purchased at the Mieussy lift ticket office. There is a reserved parking space in the immediate vicinity, with ramp access to the ticket office.
