This door is the vestiges of a former farm which was the front door of the Carthusian monks' domain. They were refurbished in 1998.
It was from this place that people could enter the Reposoir's vallley, thanks to an arched passage. The current frontage dates back to the XVIIth century. It reminds of the architecture of the monastry. A farmer lived here and was in charge of collecting the toll due to the monks. The statue of the Madonna and Child is a copy of the statue made in the XVIth century. It was sculpted by Béatrice Sassone-Bouvet in 2002.
