Plume's Egg is an orienteering game to walk in a playful way: Plume lost her egg. She is counting on the children to help her find it.
Aim of the game :
Thanks to your booklet and a map, you will go through the village of Le Reposoir to find signs represeting clues to find the egg. At each one, the children must perforate a card and take it back at the tourist office.
How to play :
Come and get your booklet in our Tourist Offices in Le Reposoir, Cluses, Mont-Saxonnex and Romme.
The route :
The path starts at the Tourist Office of Le Reposoir. You have to find the clues in the order indicated in the booklet.
There is no difficulty.
A part of the route is on the road, it can be hot in summer.
It is recommended to wear closed shoes.
Location:
Le Reposoir is located in the mountains, 15 minutes by car from Cluses.
To do / to see in the village:
In the village you will find a playground, a football field (the Tourist Office can lend you a ball on request) and other hiking suggestions.
Several farms offer guided tours. Do not hesitate to come and inquire at our tourist information office.
It is also possible to visit Carmel on your own or with a Savoie Mont Blanc Heritage Guide by booking on 04 50 89 86 68 or 06 81 70 17 44.
Eat and drink :
You can picnic in the shade near the Chapel of Blessed John of Spain or on the grass next to the church.
For sun lovers, there are picnic tables in the village and near the Tourist Office.
If necessary, the grocery store at the entrance to the village allows you to buy food and drink.
The hotel-restaurant La Chartreuse offers a children's menu, high chairs and a changing table. You can also have a drink or eat homemade ice cream on the terrace.
Find shade:
Shadow present throughout the game thanks to the trees. Shaded picnic tables to gain strength present throughout the village
Parking:
Many spaces on the church square and in the camper van parking.
Bathroom :
The toilets are located in the camper van parking lot, about 300 m from the Reposoir tourist information office.
Families: no reservation required.
