Take the opportunity to learn about the mine’s history through information panels on slate — the “grey gold” of Morzine, which has been quarried since 1732 in the cliff overlooking the Ardoisières Valley.
The Lappiaz Mine was active from 1956 to 1963.
It’s a very easy route, ideal for getting started with E-MTB or enduro riding.
