Cross-country skiing and snow trekking can be practiced in the whole Haut-Giffre Valley. Marked trails explore between forest and valleys until the famous Cirque du Fer à Cheval at the doors of Sixt Natural Reserve.
A 10 km loop in a sumptuous landscape, going from Molliet to the famous Fer-à-Cheval cirque.

Rechargeable holder mandatory for week and season passes

Price: €1 in addition to pass price
Week and season passes can be purchased (or recharged) :
- online: http://www.valleeduhautgiffre.fr/domaine-nordique/ski-de-fond/vente-en-ligne/
- or at the Nordic welcome desk in the Samoëns Tourist Office building.
Day passes can be purchased at the Morillon, Samoëns, Sixt and Verchaix Tourist Offices, and at the Joux Plane reception chalet.

74 handiski season pass:
Adults and Eterlous (16-21 yrs): 74€, pre-sale 63€.
Youth (5-15 yrs): 26€, pre-sale 22€.

The Fer-à-Cheval parking lot is chargeable all year round. Payment is made via the pay and display machines installed in the parking lots, or in advance via the Presto park application.

  • You can take the Sixt ski runs from the Perret bridge to the Fer à Cheval cirque.
    You can also leave directly from the Fer à Cheval, a free car park is on site.
