Wheels, pinions, cogs, transmissions - there are so many words to describe a large and a small needle!
Come and explore this miniature world, listen to the ticks and gears... Our workshop is just waiting for you to get started. Be on time!
Come and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of watchmaking, where every part, every gear, every cog plays a crucial role in the incessant dance of the hands of time.
Our watchmaker's workshop opens its doors to you, ready to take you on a journey to the heart of time measurement. Be punctual, because the adventure begins on time!

On the program:
- A captivating two-hour visit
- An interactive introduction, with students exploring the mysteries of watchmaking
- A challenge to become real clockmakers: children will have to identify four time-measuring instruments based on a definition (the sundial, the mechanical watch, a steeple clock movement and a pendulum).
- Exploration of hidden treasures in two rooms of the museum: the first dedicated to the evolution of time measurement, and the second to mechanical clocks.
- Build an educational clock to better understand how it works.
- For Cycle 2 students, the workshop culminates in a captivating tale featuring the vocabulary and mechanism of mechanical clocks.

Come and discover the secrets of clockmaking with us, an experience that will be a highlight of your classroom life!
