The first time I roamed for several days was the day before I left for Australia at the end of 2012. I think my brother still remembers it!
Since then, I've done some great semi-autonomous mountain bike tours: two months in New Zealand, a month in Tasmania, the Grande Traversée du Massif Central and, of course, the Tour du Mont-Blanc. But there's so much more to discover, why limit yourself to just one sector?

The Tour du Beaufortain, the Val d'Aoste, the Grande Traversée du Jura, the Tour du Cantal, the crossing of the French and Italian Alps, the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt... all I'm looking for is motivated mountain bikers, with or without assistance, to share incredible human and sporting adventures on magnificent routes.

However, I attach great importance to the following criterion: an outdoor activity must, by its very nature, have as little impact as possible on the environment. As a result, I do not wish to use the services of luggage transfer or broom wagon for tours of four days or less. So you'll need to do some serious training, both to limit the risk of accidents and to make the most of our mountain bike (AE) itinerary, despite a 4-6 kg bag!

If you've never done a mountain bike tour before, I'll always start by assessing you on a typical day before committing to several days. After that, depending on your physical and technical abilities, we'll be able to better define the project.

Gather your group of friends with whom you'd like to share this mountain bike or ATV trip and give me your dates, I'll take care of the rest. I make it a point of honour to provide you with a transparent and detailed quote.

Remember to contact me well in advance of the season to organise your stay. Places in gîtes and refuges are limited, so I need to receive your deposit early enough to be able to reserve them. Allow 4 to 12 months in advance to avoid frustration.

Not Included

Electrically-assisted mountain bikes, helmets and gloves not supplied. Possibility of collecting the VTTAE for you and driving it to the meeting point (if rented from Sport Spirit in Le Fayet or Le Refuge avenue du Mont d'Arbois).
