The big Carnival of Morillon & Verchaix is back on Tuesday, February 17th!
The residents of the villages of Verchaix and Morillon are coming together to offer young and older vacationers a Carnival in the pure tradition!
The program:
5:00 PM. Face painting & confetti
Verchaix Community Hall & Morillon Town Hall
5:30 PM. Magic Lolo Show
Verchaix Community Hall
7:00 PM. Parade of floats & Batucada
Starting in front of Morillon Church
8:00 PM. Burning of Mr. Carnival
Morillon Cable Car Parking Lot
Giant omelet offered
Snacks & drinks available on-site by local village associations.
Concert
The event is organized by the Morillon Festival Committee.
In case of cancellation, it will be postponed to Thursday, February 19th.
A free shuttle service between Morillon 1100 Les Esserts and Morillon Village will be provided:
- Les Esserts (large parking) -> Morillon: Place de la République (in front of the church): 5:00 PM, 5:45 PM, and 6:30 PM
- Morillon: Place de la République (in front of the church) -> Les Esserts (large parking lot): 8:15 PM, 9:00 PM, 9:45 PM. Shuttle reservations required through Haut-Giffre Tourism
