The Nightmare Before Christmas, My Life as a Zucchini, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Wallace and Gromit, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit... But also King Kong or Jason and the Argonauts...? All these works share the art of stop-motion, also known as “stop-motion animation”: puppets, figurines, objects, and modeling clay animated frame by frame. Let’s explore the intricacies of these techniques together and experiment with stop-motion animation in all its forms! Registration is required (registration opens on April 13 at the MJC).
