Immerse yourself in the heart of the Brittany coastline with the MF Projection “Lighthouses and Boats of Brittany,” from the Brittany Collection. This event highlights the history of navigation and lighthouses, precious witnesses to the unbreakable bond between the sea and mankind.
Through models, photographs, and paintings, the projection invites you to explore the different modes of navigation in Brittany since the 17th century. Among the works on display, the Créac'h lighthouse, an iconic figure in Finistère, reminds us of the fragility of these guardians of light, now threatened with extinction in their primary role as vital landmarks for sailors, fishermen, and boaters.
The session will be followed by a creative workshop entitled “Pop-up map – Wave in vogue,” an original and convivial opportunity to bring your own interpretation of the maritime theme to life based on the collections on display.
Combining heritage, creativity, and discovery, this event invites you to set sail on an artistic journey off the coast of Brittany.
