Housed in an old building in the heart of Chamonix since March 1, 2011, the Maison de la Mémoire et du Patrimoine preserves the region's photographic archives and offers temporary exhibitions.

Temporary exhibitions : CHAMONIX 1924: THE INVENTION OF THE WINTER OLYMPICS Until November 2026. As part of the centenary of the 1st Winter Olympics, this exhibition offers an in-depth look at the organization and staging of this event.
