Les Trois Hexagones

Elevation : 1600m
Flaine Forum, 74300 Flaine, Arâches-la-Frasse
A touch of colour between the concrete buildings, the "Three Hexagons" tower 5.50 metres above the forum from the roof of the doctor's surgery.
Designed by Victor Vasarely in 1973, this polychrome enamelled sheet-metal structure pays homage to the Bauhaus, whose code of primary colours it adopts.

The Flaine Art Centre organises a free guided tour of the resort every Tuesday at 2pm (in winter and summer) (registration required).

Follow the director of the Art Centre through the twists and turns of Flaine, in pursuit of the History of Flaine and its little stories too...

The Trois Hexagones (Three Hexagons) are among the works on display during this tour.

For the free guided tour: please book with the Centre d'Art de Flaine before 11.30am on Tuesday.
