A true old-school trail run, with only a few hundred runners on the trails.
The Foulées du Bonnant event includes the Petite Bambée (15 km and 900 m elevation gain) and the Grande Bambée (30 km and 2400 m elevation gain). These races take place in the mountains, on trails that can be challenging.
For safety, both races are timed and marked, and a working mobile phone is mandatory. However, because we want to return to the fundamentals of mountain running, smartwatches and trekking poles are prohibited.
Beyond the fastest runners, some podium places will be awarded by random draw. Prizes for the podium finishers and all other finishers consist exclusively of local products. Similarly, no sponsors support the Foulées: the central village will showcase local producers and associations. More broadly, the event's environmental footprint is minimized (no equipment purchases, local products, minimal use of motorized vehicles, etc.).
