In the middle of the hamlet of La Frasse, this little chapel was built in 1686 thanks to the generosity of 5 pedlars and rebuilt in the middle of the 19th century in a neo-gothic style.
In the inside, beautifully decorated and colorful, you will find the chapel's former bell, now cracked, which is one of the first bell made at the Paccard foundry in 1823.
We can read 3 different date on the frontage : 1686, 1861 and 1977. It was actually built in 1686, thanks to the pedlars of the Violland family, who all became middle-class persons in Brisach in Alsace. It was refurbished in a neo-gothic style in 1861 under the canon Poncet, born in Nancy-sur-Cluses. The last refurbishment was in 1977.
