Guides are essential if you want to discover the riches of the mountains in complete safety, and they will be in the spotlight for a day packed with events and festivities.

Join us for a unique day combining tradition, nature and thrills, between Samoëns and the spectacular Gorges des Tines. THIS YEAR'S PROGRAMME - below is the 2025 programme for your information: Samoëns : ⛪ Place du Gros Tilleul: 10:30 am ➡️ OFFICIAL CEREMONY 12pm ➡️ POT DES GUIDES Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval : ⛰️Gorges des Tines : 2pm to 5pm ➡️ MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES - Ice axe climbing - Climbing - Abseiling - Tyrolean traverse - Discovering Les Tines ⛪️ Espace La Reine des Alpes : 6:30pm ➡️ FILM SHOW theme: "Women in the mountains". - Le Piolet de Verre (52min) - Drawn to the Mountains (7min) - Walking in your Tracks (12min) Rewards for sustainable travel! Come by bus, bike or carpool and leave with a free drink! An event organized by the Bureau des Guides de Samoëns in collaboration with the Office de Tourisme de Samoëns and the Office de Tourisme de Haut Giffre Tourisme.

From the Samoëns tourist office, by bike, on foot or in a wheelchair, take Avenue Cognac Jaÿ, turn right at the end of the street, and 150m further on you'll arrive at Place du gros Tilleul.

Free parking nearby at Place des dents blanches and Place des Avoudruz. Blue spaces and PMR reserved spaces just ahead.
