The Cité de l’Eau – a municipal nautical centre run by Publier Town Hall – invites you to discover its aquatic area, open to everyone, with its many facilities and 1,000m2 of swimming pools. Indoor area with a lane-pool, fun pool, wave machine, slide, two Jacuzzis, and additional activities: aquagym, aquafitness, aquajogging, there’s something for everyone!
The Cité de l'Eau nautical center is the only indoor swimming pool on the French side of Lake Geneva, and has a nationwide reach. The Cité de l'Eau is a modern facility in the heart of a lush green area, with a wide range of aquatic sports and recreational facilities. A lively place, it welcomes families, schoolchildren, groups and several associations.
Users can enjoy a sports pool, a leisure pool (also known as a wave pool), diving boards, a slide, Jacuzzis and a paddling pool. Other activities include aquagym, aquafitness and aquajogging.
Swimming is accessible to all, with all the necessary PRM (persons with reduced mobility) equipment such as adapted cabins in each changing room, wheelchairs for transferring in and out of the pool, and hydraulic seats for entering and exiting the water.
Since January 2024, the water in the pools has been filtered using wood fiber, an innovative, ecological and economical solution. The Cité de l'Eau is the first public water sports center in France to use this 100% plant-based and sustainable technique.
Automatic equipment dispenser (chargeable): swimming goggles, men's, women's and children's swimsuits, swim caps.
