Hike with views and balconies, before heading for the alpine pastures where cows and sheep graze: the Cabane du Petit Pâtre.

This hut is not only a traditional shepherd's hut, but also an essential stopping-off point for hikers in search of breathtaking panoramas. Picnic tables allow you to enjoy a well-deserved moment of relaxation.
The breathtaking view of the Mont-Blanc range is a spectacular sight. This exhilarating trail takes you through remarkable landscapes, while respecting the pastoral environment that characterizes our region.
Can be done as a loop. Caution: dangerous passage at Les Seyttets (sheep and patous park), but passage possible. Second itinerary/loop recommended by Tête du Planet.

Whatever your hike, remember to pack cereal bars, plenty of water, sunglasses, sun cream, a small first-aid kit, and clothing suited to the season and weather forecast.

Please note: for the hike to the Petit Pâtre hut, we recommend that you go up via Tête Noire, continue via Plateau des Bénés, continue via Tête du Planet to arrive at the Petit Pâtre hut: today we strongly recommend that you make a round trip to avoid descending through avalanche paths.
Pets welcome Dogs must be kept on a leash. Please note that domestic dogs are forbidden on the communal mountain pasture around Montagne de Croisse Baulet, between July 01 and September 15. Contact the Tourist Office for further information.
