This season, the Allos stage welcomes back virtuoso pianist Kotaro Fukuma, honorary citizen of the town of Cluses in 2018.
First Prize at the Cleveland International Competition at the age of twenty, winner of the Chopin Prize in Japan in 2013, Kotaro Fukuma performs on many prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, Wigmore Hall in London, Philharmonie and Konzerthaus in Berlin, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Salle Gaveau in Paris, Grand Auditorium National in Madrid, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
Kotaro Fukuma has appeared as soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre National de Lille, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse under conductors such as Rafaël Frühbeck de Burgos, Yury Simonov, François-Xavier Roth, Asher Fisch, Hannu Lintu, Mihhail Gerts, Kazuki Yamada, Tugan Sokhiev.
