Who is LA PATTE NORDIC?
LA PATTE NORDIC was created by Didier Lagorce. In recent years, his daughter Justine Lagorce, a certified musher, has taken up the torch. Driven by the passion passed on by her father, she wants to share the world of sled dogs with her participants.
Justine's priority is the well-being of the dogs and the safety of participants. To this end, LA PATTE NORDIC offers a maximum of one or two outings per day, with one or two sleds per outing. During certain periods, Élodie, her certified musher colleague who shares the same values, accompanies her to offer Inuit Experiences tailored to groups and families.
This organization allows them to offer an authentic experience that respects the well-being of their dogs, in an intimate and unspoiled setting, far from mass tourism. The trails run through the forest, and some outings are organized in the middle of the day or evening, allowing participants to enjoy a magical sunset before finishing the ride by the light of headlamps.
To ensure everyone's safety, the municipality of Les Gets has introduced a municipal bylaw prohibiting dogs from being out and about during activity hours (Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.). This measure allows LA PATTE NORDIC to conduct its outings in complete safety, both for participants and for pedestrians and their dogs, on paths that are sometimes narrow and where coexistence would otherwise be difficult.
