Institution: Praz Coutant

171 route de Praz Coutant, 74190 Passy
First sanatorium built in Passy, the facility opened in 1924. It differs from all others by its design, in the form of a village with its small cottages and chapel.
Labeled "Twentieth century heritage". Architects, Aristide Daniel, Lucien Bechmann, Henry Jacques Same, Pol Abraham. Landscape, Rene Edouard André.

The small chapel, independent of the main buildings, is dedicated to St. Francis de Sales. Its four large windows, richly colored, evoke both biblical themes and charming familiar scenes. (Decor and Furniture Paul Pruvost, Pierre Turpin, Eugene Nys, Roger de Villiers, Alliot Violette, Paul Cross Marie).

A few hundred metres above the footpath, a memorial stone recalls the deadly mudslide that destroted several buildings of the sanatorium Roc des Fiz in 1970.
