William Mesguich brings to life on stage the exceptional experience of writer-adventurer Sylvain Tesson, embodying with vibrancy one of the most beautiful hymns to poetry and beauty.
Immensity as a horizon. Silence as a faithful partner of incomparable power. When Sylvain Tesson decided to get away from the city and the crowds, he chose to isolate himself in a cabin in the middle of the Siberian forests. There, his only occupations were fishing for food and chopping wood for fuel. He rediscovers the joys of reading and solitary reflection. Actor William Mesguich follows in the writer's footsteps, finding the rigor and contemplation to embody Sylvain Tesson's solitude, rich in meditation and wonder at the landscape.
