Ready to discover the dragonflies and other animals that inhabit the lake? Join us to count them, in collaboration with France Nature Environnement Haute-Savoie. Become an expert on small aquatic creatures in just one morning!

Winner of the 2025 Atlas of Municipal Biodiversity, Combloux has committed to three years of exploring and sharing the natural wealth of its territory, with the support of the French Office for Biodiversity. In 2026, let's open our eyes and ears wide: every observation and every outing enriches our understanding of living things. On 6 June, head to the biotope lake for a 100% immersive nature activity: • Dive into the fascinating world of dragonflies and discover their life cycle • With a net in hand, learn how to capture and identify species • Explore the ecosystem of the biotope lake: amphibians, aquatic insects... a little-known world awaits you! You will leave with all the keys to continue your observations during your next swims and enrich the collective inventory. Every discovery counts! Walking shoes. Bring something to drink and a picnic lunch.

12km along the A40, take the Sallanches exit, then follow the signs for Combloux/Megève (approx. 20 mins).
In the centre of the village, 1st roundabout coming from Sallanches.
Park your car in the nearby Cristaux car park (45.9582634, 6.6296225) and go down the stairs 2 mins walk from the roundabout.

By bus from Sallanches (direction Flumet) or from Megève (direction Sallanches), Line Y83. Timetable available on the SAT Mont Blanc website.
From Saint Gervais, Chamonix or Megève: line Y82 (less frequent, please check timetables).

During the summer school holidays, there is a free shuttle service in the village between the top of the village (Le Cuchet) and the Tourist Office. From the Tourist Office, it's a 6-minute walk to the Biotope lake.
