Hiking, Forest trail

Departing from the vacation center, we accompany your class to the theme trail.
The trail features wood carvings. We propose a playful discovery of trees thanks to panels that provide information on the specific features of mountain forests.
Can you tell the difference between coniferous and deciduous trees? Between firs and spruces?
We'll teach you how to count the age of trees and recognize limestone rocks.
This trail is set up by the ONF. We learn about forest management. We observe the nesting boxes that have been set up and the birds that use them.
We observe the life signs of the animals living in the forest and discover the forest flora.
Depending on the level of the students, we also look at the montane levels of vegetation.
On the way back, we'll take a quiz on the trees we've encountered, and debrief the children at the end of the hike to test their knowledge and what they've learned and enjoyed during the half-day.

For group sizes, 24 children per supervisor if the teacher is present.
Without a teacher, 1 supervisor for every 12 children.
