During a guided tour of his exhibition on the Allee Cavalière and the Jardin Alpin, wildlife photographer David Carpano shares his magical moments, captured on the Megeve territory, in the intimacy of forests and mountains.
These still images are the result of long hours of stalking in the mountains around Megève. Wildlife so close, yet so discreet and wild, sometimes difficult to glimpse.
The thirty or so panels in the exhibition reveal the region's wildlife with striking animal details and expressions, as well as shots with an artistic approach, where the photographer plays with lighting and angles, always with the same goal of revealing and sharing the wonders of the wild world around us.
David Carpano was born in Megève in 1973 and has been practicing wildlife photography for fifteen years. A true nature enthusiast, he travels to Megève and its surroundings to photograph the Haute-Savoie wildlife, always careful not to disturb it.
Equipped with his camera, he travels the mountains of our region to share his photos with the general public, showcasing the beauty of the nature that surrounds us. Present on social networks under the pseudonym “Dav’sfotos”, David regularly publishes photos of his mountain escapades.
