Come and join Claire, a certified mountain leader, for a friendly snowshoe hike to explore the alpine pastures and forests of the Aravis.
Weekly schedule (subject to change based on weather conditions):
- Monday:
9 am: Meet the chamois at Col des Aravis
2 pm: Alpine pastures of Les Confins
- Tuesday:
9 am: The backside of Beauregard
2 pm: Follières of Beauregard
- Wednesday:
9 am: Mont Blanc balconies at Col des Aravis
2 pm: Frêtes du Danay
- Thursday:
9 am: Colomban, the Aravis balcony
2 pm: Tête de Cabeau loop
- Friday:
9 am: Tête du Danay
2 pm: Pré à l'Ours, above Manigod
- Saturday and Sunday: upon request
The outings are scheduled for half-days (morning or afternoon); full-day excursions available upon request.
All hikes are of intermediate difficulty and accessible to everyone.
The meeting point is at the departure location of each hike.
Snowshoes are not provided and can be rented at the "Bossonnet Pro Shop".
