Gîte des bois

Privileged location for discovering the major ski areas of Haute-Savoie, and the major tourist sites of the department:
140m2 gîte on the ground floor of an old Savoyard chalet-style farm, fully restored.
The cottage has its own independent entrance (access via 4 steps): fitted kitchen open to the living room/lounge area (TV, corner sofa, armchairs), bedroom 1 (1 160x200cm bed), bedroom 2 (1 160x200cm bed) , bedroom 3 (2 beds 90x190cm), bedroom 4 (4 beds 90x190cm).
Bathroom (bath), shower room (shower, toilet), separate toilet.
Sheets are provided (beds made on arrival), and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Towels are not provided.
Electric heating by infrared radiators. Wifi internet.
Courtyard, private garden with grassy terrace area (table and chairs, parasol).
Parking in the courtyard in front of the gîte. Ski room.
All shops in Taninges 1.5km (2 minutes by car).
In winter, ski at the Grand Massif 8km away (Morillon cable car): the Grand-Massif area brings together the resorts of Morillon, Les Carroz, Flaine, Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-A-Cheval on 265km of marked slopes.
Portes du Soleil ski area 11km away (Les Gets). Praz-De-Lys/Sommand station 15km away.
Many hikes to practice in the all-season area, or in the Sixt-Fer-A-Cheval nature reserve (25 minutes by car).
Summer swimming at the Morillon leisure center 7.5km away. Samoëns village station 12km (15 minutes). Saint-Gervais thermal baths at 34km.
Major sites in the department 1 hour maximum by car: Chamonix 45 minutes, Geneva 50 minutes, Annecy, Yvoire and Lake Geneva 1 hour.
