A giant of the theatre, Sarah Bernhardt was a mythical, flamboyant figure – a legendary actress driven by her passion for the stage.
Curated by Pierre-André Hélène, curator and collector, the exhibition will feature around 150 items, including paintings, photographs and posters depicting the actress, as well as jewellery, furniture and Art Nouveau objects that once belonged to her. Replicas of her haute couture dresses will also be on display, recreating the atmosphere of the era.
