One of the most beautiful books on the Savoyard and Piedmontese nobility, published in 1654: 270 coats of arms accompanied by the names and titles of each knight and the description of his coat of arms.
The author, François Capré, whose family originated in Megève, was Secretary of State and Master of Accounts to the Duke of Savoy. The Academy possesses a copy of this exceptional work, which has recently been restored.
