Benjamin Courtois is passionate about drawing, and an inveterate amateur of pencils, charcoal and breadcrumb erasers. Whenever he can find a spare moment, he devotes it to sketching portraits in a resolutely retro style, between nostalgia and finesse of line.
His artistic universe is nourished by a pronounced taste for the atmospheres of yesteryear, which he transcribes with precision and sensitivity. At the same time, he also explores oil painting, which he does on a more occasional basis, according to his whims and inspiration.
