This autumn, as last year, Montagne Cafés® invites you to discover the local artisanal and gourmet heritage through two not-to-be-missed events for coffee lovers and the curious.
On Wednesday October 1st, Montagne Cafés® invites you to take part in the Journées du Café, a national event organized by our Collectif Café. It's the perfect opportunity to plunge into the fascinating world of coffee, from cultivation to roasting, and to meet passionate craftsmen.
Le Collectif Café brings together independent roasters, importers, baristas and other professionals in the French coffee industry. Its mission is to promote quality coffee, produced in a responsible, artisanal way. The organization defends the know-how of coffee artisans and encourages sustainable production, from harvest to cup. With over 400 participating outlets across the country, Collectif Café offers interactive events such as workshop tours, tastings and workshops to raise public awareness of the art of coffee.
On this occasion, Montagne Cafés® opens its doors to you for two free tours, at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. You'll discover how beans become coffee, learn about the craftsmanship involved, and explore the different characteristics of each coffee. Tastings will allow you to savour the full richness of the aromas, and of course, you'll be able to leave with your favourite coffees, on sale directly on site.
This tour includes :
- A presentation of our artisanal roasting process
- Discovery of the different stages in the roasting process
- A discussion on the origin of our coffees, their traceability and our commitment to sustainable development
- Commented tasting of our freshly roasted coffees
- Direct sales on site: coffee beans or ground coffee, according to your preferences.
The visit may be cancelled if the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached.
In this case, you will be informed at least 2 days before the scheduled date, and offered an alternative or a full refund.
You can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before the date of the tour.
After this time, the reservation cannot be changed or refunded.
