During this residency, the artist will develop a research project around the notion of solitude, both personal and collective.
The Des-Aire project examines how solitude manifests and transforms itself through contact with the environment, sounds and presences that surround us.
Through an approach combining writing, voice and body movement, she wishes to experiment with different ways of perceiving isolation: how solitude can become a space for listening, transformation and sharing.
The work will explore this in-between zone -"des-aires"- as a territory of research where individual solitude connects with a collective, sensory dimension.
