After crossing the village, you walk along a trail facing the Tournette until you reach the forest edge. Take the trail that will lead you to the orientation table with a view of the village and of the chain of Aravis.
This route starts in the centre of the village, a typical Savoyard hamlet with its grenette (covered market), square and church. The route winds through the narrow streets of Le Grand-Bornand, passing close to a traditional Savoyard pottery workshop, before joining a footpath and the orientation point. The return journey along a balcony path offers a bird’s-eye view of the village, with the Aravis range as a backdrop.
