Concert by the Camerata du Mont-Blanc
Concert Saturday 24 January 2026 at 6pm
St Michel Church, Chamonix
The Camerata du Mont-Blanc has been enchanting the valley for almost 10 years with a string ensemble repertoire of 130 works ranging from baroque to contemporary. While classical ‘hits’ such as Vivaldi's Four Seasons and JS Bach's concertos are inevitably part of the repertoire, the ensemble is also committed to introducing you to composers who are rarely played or even unknown.
For its second concert of the season, the ensemble will present Arthur Foote's highly romantic Serenade for Strings, Op. 25.
Also on the programme is JS Bach's Violin Concerto in E Major BWV 1042, performed by Claire Roff, and Edvard Grieg's best-known Holberg Suite.
Admission to this concert is free – donations welcome on exit – but booking is recommended by contacting the association (until 12 noon on the day of the concert) by email or text message using the contact details below, providing the following information for each participant: surname, first name, email address and mobile phone number.
