




At 1844m of altitude, overlooking the Arve Valley and the resorts of Flaine and Les Carroz, The 'Col de Pierre Carrée' cross-country skiing area is the highest and the most snowsure nordic skiing area in the Alps.
The Col de Pierre Carrée site in Flaine is open from mid-December to mid-April. The loops are traced in alternating and skating. Skating is easy and fun to learn.
- TipsOn the car park, it is possible to buy the nordic passes from the reception in the 'Nordic Chalet'. Free shuttle bus services from Flaine and Les Carroz. Information at the local tourist offices. 17 km (10.5 miles) of trails that all separate classic XC skiers and skaters. A daily maintenance is organised.
