The church has the particularity of combining two heterogeneous elements. The old church, dating from 1838, was demolished and rebuilt in 1956 by the architect Maurice NOVARINA.
The old church, which dated from 1838, was effectively demolished and then rebuilt in 1956 by Maurice Novarina, an architect from Thonon-les-Bains. The vault was in a very bad state and the authorities at the time judged it to be irreparable. The bell tower of the original building has been preserved, a bulb-shaped tower which is a traditional Savoyard design. It was renovated in 1996.
