Les P'tits Flambeaux", a charity torchlight descent, is a warm and friendly event open to all.
What is Les P'tits Flambeaux?
It's a national solidarity event taking place on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Its aim is to mobilize all French ski resorts around a common goal: to raise funds to enable children who are not fortunate enough to be able to go on vacation to discover the French massifs and the benefits of the mountains.
Funds raised will be donated to the following 3 associations: "Enfance & Montagne", "Génération Montagne", and "Petits Princes".
Torches will be on sale at the ESF office and the Tourist Office, for €10 each.
Program :
- For those registered, the meeting point is at 5 p.m. at the foot of the Crêt-Béni chairlift, followed by an ascent via the Crêt-Béni chairlift with ESF instructors and resort ski patrollers.
A valid ski pass is required to take part.
- 6 p.m.: start of the torchlight descent down the Ourson green run, with ESF instructors from La Chapelle d'Abondance.
- 6.30pm: arrival of the torchlight descent on the Crêt-Béni snow front.
