In winter If you want to go for a walk, put on your snowshoes from the chalet and you'll discover the hamlets of Chantemerle or La Rosière, and if you're brave you can go to the Bostan refuge. If you prefer skiing, a 10-15' drive will take you to the pretty village of Samoens, where you can set off for the summits of the Grand Massif. If you prefer cross-country skiing, head for the Col de Joux Plane. On the way back, enjoy a raclette, fondue or other Savoyard dish by the fire.
In summer, outdoor activities abound, including paragliding, rafting, mountain biking, cycling, via ferrata and the local swimming pool. If you love nature, there's no shortage of hiking opportunities. Whether you're young or old, there's something for everyone. Take in some of the region's must-see sites, such as the Rouget waterfall and the Sixt Fer à Cheval circus. Once you're back home, you can enjoy the garden, bask in the sun on a deckchair or play a game of ball on the meadow in front of the chalet. Tranquillity and conviviality guaranteed. Sleeping facilities include 5 bedrooms (3 double beds, 4 single beds), a top-quality sofa bed and 2 extra mattresses. WI-Fi coverage is good throughout the chalet, but speeds are slow in the mountains. From experience, we can tell you that telecommuting is entirely possible.
