The charming village of Morillon is a family-friendly ski resort in the Giffre Valley in Haute-Savoie. It is an enjoyable place to be in the summer and in winter. At the Grand Massif ski area, there are 265km of Alpine ski slopes and 135 slopes of all levels, spread between Morillon, Samoëns, Les Carroz, Flaine and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval.
It is very easy to get here, Geneva airport is less than 50 minutes away by car and the A40 motorway and the train station are only 15 minutes away. This is a welcoming, peaceful and renowned ski resort. The slopes are superb and all mountain activities are available here.
At Morillon Grand Massif, you can also go snowboarding, paragliding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The cable car is only 5 minutes away from the chalet and will take you to the ski area in just a few minutes.
Sporty families will love Morillon and the surrounding area in the summer, with a wide range of outdoor sports on offer and a vast choice of activities in the valley. These activities include canyoning, rafting, paragliding, climbing, via ferrata, horse-riding, adventure parks, as well as hiking, road cycling and mountain biking.
The Lac Bleu in Morillon is worthy of its name with crystal-clear, deep blue waters and a beach, with an on-duty lifeguard for the swimming area and a wide range of activities including bouncy castles, crazy golf, beach volleyball and a skate park.
