4 Wednesdays to discover and try out all kinds of activities with family and friends!
Every Wednesday during the winter vacations, the Tourist Office team awaits you on the Plaine Joux snow front to try out the various activities we've selected for you.
Here's the program for Wednesdays, February 18 and March 04:
⛰️Randonnée Panoramic view of the heights:
Join mountain guide Xavier and your family for a unique panoramic hike. Learn to read the landscape, identify relief and understand the natural environment around you. The pedestrian chairlift is included in the price, making the hike accessible to all and allowing you to enjoy the view to the full. A fun, educational and immersive workshop for young and old explorers alike. Minimum age recommended: 6 years.
Igloo building or Bushcraft :
Parents and children learn how to build an igloo with Stéphane, a mountain guide. A collaborative workshop to learn about the properties of snow and winter construction techniques. Learn to protect yourself from the cold by using the cold. If there isn't enough snow, the activity is transformed into a bushcraft workshop: shelters, basic techniques and discovery of life in the wild. An immersive, fun experience for the whole family. Minimum recommended age 6.
DVA treasure hunt :
Join the whole family for an accessible and educational introduction to the use of avalanche transceivers. Once you've got the hang of it, it's time for an action-packed treasure hunt in the snow! A fun, supervised workshop to learn the basics of search and rescue, while raising awareness of mountain safety. Recommended minimum age: 5 years.
Vacation souvenir film :
Parents and children discover the basics of storytelling and video to create a souvenir film together, using a simple smartphone. Supervised by Pierre, a professional photographer and videographer, this fun workshop introduces storytelling, framing and creativity, so you can leave with a unique souvenir of the day. Recommended minimum age: 8
Arc Battle :
Experience an archery battle like no other! Parents and children compete as a team on a specially prepared snow-covered field, using safe arrows. A fun and dynamic workshop that combines strategy, team spirit and thrills, in an original and safe winter setting. Recommended minimum age: 7 years.
Book online or at the tourist office.
