What does tomorrow hold for us? Where are we today and where does the road of our crazy rhythms take us?
With humor, derision, and ferocity, the Contre poinG company paints a well-documented portrait of today's world, capturing the exuberant emotions it evokes... and ultimately sketching a future fueled by shared hopes. True to the company's transdisciplinary spirit, the performers, aided by video, sing, dance, and play on our paradoxes and flaws, reminding us that perhaps, above all, we are seeking a better tomorrow.
The play draws on the work of researchers and videos of scientists distraught by the delay in addressing environmental issues, despite all the existing work. The play's director and author, Aurélie Derbier, also a doctor of psychology, intelligently addresses this difficult question: "How can we raise awareness among as many people as possible about the challenges of ecological transition?" She particularly examines the link between science and society on these issues.
