Perhaps mistakenly, this hike is called the Laudon circuit. Indeed, according to the directional panels, we start at Saint-Jorioz and head for Saint-Eustache, initially following the Laudon river, a tributary of Lake Annecy.
A hike carried out in collaboration with the department and Greater Annecy for the signposting and the Tourist Office.
A medium-sized route, a little long for children, but offering beautiful mountain panoramas and small lake views. It's a gentle mix of countryside, forest, rural world and sometimes tragic history. The walk starts from the church in Saint-Jorioz, and there's a small supermarket opposite the church where you can organise your picnic. Unfortunately, the only café on the way is now closed. You can fill up with fresh water at St-Eustache.
