Les Gaz'Ailes" paragliding club at Le Lac is organising the 2026 edition of the "Bornes to Fly" event on May 7 and 8, 2026, the Walk and Fly World Cup takes place.
The Bornes To Fly is a friendly race combining paragliding and walking, in the tradition of the famous X-Alps.
Pilots will compete over a three-day course, punctuated by two bivouacs in the wilderness. The route, ranging from 100 to 250 kilometers, will be chosen by the Event Director to suit the weather conditions. To be considered as passed, the beacons must be crossed, by flight or on foot, within a radius defined at the briefing. The list of beacons to be passed will be given by the Event Director at the pilot briefing.
