The Musée des ailes is run by an association of enthusiasts who have been working to preserve France's aeronautical heritage since 1992.
The public will be able to discover the two vintage aircraft, currently undergoing restoration, as well as the equipment that will make up the future and first Haute-Savoie Aeronautical Heritage Museum.
A flight simulator will be set up for visitors, who will be able to take the controls (rudder, sticks and throttles) of the aircraft of their choice.
Aircraft sculptures on stone:
Combining art and aeronautics, Swiss artist Steve Antonietti will be exhibiting his aircraft sculptures in white china stone and rare woods, presented in the form of bedside lamps.
