The new chalet in the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve will open its doors in summer 2026 (date to be confirmed).
The new complex offers:
- A new exhibition layout in the basement: an immersive journey to discover the history and biodiversity of the reserve.
- Improved accessibility: creation of a walkway for people with reduced mobility and a viewing platform offering breathtaking views of the small lake and the Aiguilles de Chamonix.
- Outdoor facilities: New furniture (benches, picnic tables), an electric charging station, and refurbished educational signage.
- Climate Adventure Area: The themed trail around the chalet is part of a network of five new fun trails in the valley designed to help visitors understand climate issues.
